Zoey's Three Month Update and Some Catching up

The last month has been so crazy for us! In May we have Mother's Day and my brother-in-law and two nephews all have birthdays. We haven't had a free weekend with no plans in a while, so I'm playing catch up here just a bit!

We decided to get Zoey's ears pierced right after she turned two months. I was so nervous and she definitely was not a fan, she cried really hard and we immediately regretted our decision. About 20 minutes later she had calmed down and after a nap was back to her normal self. She looks so cute with her little earrings.

We hosted Mother's Day again this year and it was a really nice day. We had a waffle bar with chocolate cake waffles, cinnamon roll waffles and regular buttermilk. Did you know you can cook the premade cinnamon rolls in a waffle iron?! Genius. It was a hit and everyone had a great morning.

Zoey had a great time celebrating her cousin Nathen's first birthday. What better theme for a little boy than a little man stache bash?! I helped my sister-in-law out with the decorations and dessert table and we had a really great time making everything super festive. Zoey got to party with some of her other cousins, one of which is just a week younger than her. I can't wait for the holidays to see them all together.

 Zoey didn't have a doctor's appointment this month, but we estimate she's weighing in at around 11lbs. She's officially grown out of all her newborn clothes. She has a few onesies she can still squeeze in to, but is definitely comfortable in 3 months now, although some outfits are still a bit big.
